"The Celestial Path"

Wow!! Worked really hard on this one, it ended up completly diferent from what i was planning but i feel very satisfied with it, it was a great pratice for painted nebulas and for the planets aswell.

It took several weeks, on and off, but counting the hours it was around 10h to 12h.

The gas giant was made on 3dsmax, with textures made in pscs5;

The earth like planet was made in photoshop/3dsmax, kinda like a mate painting using some Nasa stock photos.

The nebula behind was a payne in the ass. Fully painted with a Genius graphic table.

I really enjoyed working in this one, and im considering to change it if anything is necessary, and your opinion helps me alot! So any comments and critics are much apreciated :D

I also wanna thank freelancah :iconfreelancah: for his critic and for his help :)

Enjoy!!!

Crazy colours, makes me think of my pattern of always doing an insanely-coloured space scene every New Year :XD: Parts of the nebula feel a little flat, like none of the pink areas are really leaning forward or back in or out of the green haze, the Pillars of Creation is an image I have referenced from heaps of time and it's a good example of how even seemingly "clear" blue haze can shroud and lighten some parts of the dust clouds themselves, showing extra depth. But the nebula's colours and shape are really cool though, you don't see its type very often in space art, people that did do them a lot such as *sumopiggy or ~Andr-Sar don't seem to be making art anymore :( Both planets look great in regards to the detail and realism of their texture too :)

awesome you like it :D yeah i love your crazy color schemes :P i wanted to make something diferent without the need for super realism, but more artistic, i've notice now the lack of dept in the nebula, maybe i will try something out to make it pop more, im happy that you like man :D thank you alot
