So i did this a while ago but i've been waitting for the right time to submit it,

The concept behind this just appeared in my head like a vision, i imagined a whole 3D animation with a ship slowy moving bettwin thoes big icy crystals, but unfortunalty, my laptop couldnt handle such a render so i just pick a frame out of my head and here it is :)

the moons are also composed mostly by a very clear unique cystal, holding no melted core, so the sunlight in some cases can be seen coming out of the dark side of the moon, as you can clearly see in the moon at the bottom

planets and ice meteors all done in 3ds max, final scene with photoshop

i really hope you all like it as much as I do :D

I love the 'in your face' concept behind this - it does certainly feel like you are in the moment! I do feel though the largest asteroid right in the middle at the top should be off-balanced from the middle and moved either to the left or to the right - this is to balance the picture somewhat

other than that, you have yourself a good piece. well done.

awesome! I love these crowded things and I like the fact that the planet is not the obvious focal here
